A Certificate of Fitness is required to store, handle and use hazardous materials.
Hazardous materials include corrosive, flammable, toxic and highly toxic solid chemicals, ozone gas generators, organic peroxides, oxidizers, pyrophoric materials, pyroxylin plastics, unstable (reactive) materials and water-reactive solids and liquids. A certificate holder must be on duty at all times when hazardous materials are being used.
This Certificate of Fitness is valid only at a specific location and for the specific person to whom it is issued.
