City Fire Department

A Certificate of Fitness is required to use an oxygen-fuel torch or any flammable gas torch in the manufacture of jewelry and dental lab operation.

 The Certificate of Fitness holder must regulate the pressure and flow of oxygen and natural gas to each torch.

This Certificate of Fitness is valid only for the specific person to whom it is issued and can be used anywhere within New York City.
