Fraternal Benefit Society Admission License

This license lets a fraternal benefit society run an insurance business. The business can offer:

• Life benefits
• Accident benefits
• Sickness benefits
• Accidental injury benefits

A fraternal benefit society is an organization:

• Aimed toward a common goal
• Defined by a fraternal purpose
• Operating under the lodge system
• Responsible for paying out life, sickness, accident and other insurance benefits

Note: Societies from outside New York State need a separate license.
