Operating Requirements
Besides holding a New York State Office of Children and Family Services license, the business owner must meet all other requirements by relevant City and State Agencies. Failure to follow these regulations may result in the suspension of registration. Contact your NYC Bureau of Child Care borough office for more operating information.
Ready to Renew?
Steps to renew in person:
90 days before your license expires, you will receive a renewal notice in the mail from the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. Read the requirements for renewing a home-based day care license. If you do not receive your renewal notice, call 311 and ask for day care license. You will be routed to your Bureau of Child Care borough office.
