Kosher Food Registration

If you have a business that makes or sells kosher food, you need to register with the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets.

If you sell kosher food that you prepare on-site, you must:

• Post a certification where customers can see it.
• File the information of the person or group that certifies the food.

Registration does not mean your food is certified.
