The New Markets Revolving Loan Fund (NMRLF) is a federal program to help small business owners in low-income areas get loans. The program gives money to loan providers, then the providers must match the funds dollar for dollar.

The New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC) manages the loan providers in New York City. Loans are only for small businesses and micro-entrepreneurs in low-income communities as defined by the U.S. Department of Treasury Community Development Financial Institutions Fund.

Loan providers

The current loan providers are Seedco Financial Services, Inc. and Project Enterprise. Each provider has its own rules and processes. Contact the loan providers directly to apply:
