Eggs sold in New York State must show their grade on the package and in ads. The Department of Agriculture and Markets checks the grade and quality standards of eggs for sale.
Eggs can be Grade AA, A or B. The size classes are:
- Jumbo
- Extra Large
- Large
- Medium
- Small
- Peewee
Each grade and size class has its own requirements.
