NYCIDA Garment Center Program

About

Other Various Agencies / Organizations

The Garment Center Program is run by the New York City Industrial Development Agency (NYCIDA). It provides tax incentives to property owners that lease space to fashion manufacturers in the Garment District.

The program provides lower real estate taxes. Benefits are based on the square footage leased to fashion manufacturers. Leasing requirements for fashion manufacturing tenants are required at closing of the NYCIDA transaction. Most fashion manufacturers that make garments or accessories are eligible.
