Pharmacists in New York need a license from the New York State Education Department (NYSED).

To get this license, you need to meet certain education, experience and exam requirements.

If you are a student or an applicant, you can get an intern permit to practice pharmacy under supervision.

If you have a license from another state, you can transfer it to New York.
