Smoke Free Air Act - Information

You may call 311 if you have any questions about smoking in commercial establishments or wish to anonymously report a violation. There are certain limited exemptions to this law for establishments which qualify and meet certain requirements. The Department of Health and Mental Hygiene grants these waivers / exemptions on behalf of the City and the State. Failure to comply with all relevant regulations, including those under the jurisdiction of other Agencies, may result in the suspension of DOHMH permits until proof of compliance is provided.
