As of August 30, 2024, you do not need a temporary vendor permit from the Department of Consumer and Worker Protection (DCWP) to be a street fair vendor.
However, street fair sponsors must still follow all rules from the Mayor's Office of Citywide Event Coordination and Management - Street Activity Permit Office (SAPO). This includes giving SAPO a list of all approved vendors.
