NYC Funds Finder is the City’s first online capital marketplace for small business owners.

Developed by the NYC Department of Small Business Services (SBS) in conjunction with Next Street, NYC Funds Finder connects entrepreneurs with financing assistance through the City’s Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) partners and other lenders.

Businesses can navigate the site independently to find available loan and grant resources, or request free one-on-one assistance.

Disaster Assistance Loans

Businesses and homeowners affected by heavy rains and flooding in September 2023 can access financing up to $2M through a U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) federal assistance program.

Starting Wednesday, December 6, three disaster loan outreach centers (two in Brooklyn and one in Nassau) will provide in-person application assistance and answer questions about the program and eligibility criteria. The centers will close on Friday, December 22.

Applications for disaster loans may be submitted online using the MySBA Loan Portal at lending.sba.gov.

Applicants may also call SBA's Customer Service Center at 800-659-2955 or email disastercustomerservice@sba.gov. Individuals who are deaf, hard of hearing, or have a speech disability can dial 7-1-1 to access telecommunications relay services.
