Drug Store Off-Premise Beer / Wine Products License

If your drug store wants to sell beer, cider or wine, you need a special license from the New York State Liquor Authority (SLA).

Requirements

• More than 50 percent of your store’s items must be food and drugs.

• Beer, cider and wine must be less than 25 percent of your store’s items.

• Beer, cider and wine must have less than 6 percent alcohol.
