Businesses that still have Empire Zone Certification can get an Employment Incentive Credit (EIC).

Please note that the Empire Zone program is closed to new participants.

Businesses must also have the Incentive Tax Credit (ITC) to get the EIC. If a business claims the ITC and increases employment, a 30% bonus is added to the ITC. That is the EIC.
