    Anyone who applies for a Green Cart permit must have a Mobile Food Vending License.

        • There is no fee to apply for a waiting list.
        • Full-Term (2 year) Green Cart Permit application fee: $75.00 
        • There are no license or permit application fees for honorably discharged veterans of the United States Armed Services who present a New York State Peddler's Certificate, or for the surviving spouse or domestic partner of a veteran with this certificate.

      Priority Groups

      Local law gives priority to U.S. veterans and people with a disability when offering green cart permits. Priority is given in the following order:

      1. U.S. veteran with a disability
      2. Person with a disability
      3. U.S. veteran
