It is important for all businesses in New York City to prevent pest infestations in and around where they operate. Uncontrolled infestations can spread to nearby businesses and homes and may negatively affect the quality of life in a neighborhood. It is the building owner and tenant’s responsibility to prevent or address pest infestations on a property. Information is available to assist business owners in preventing and eliminating pests.</p>
The Department of Health and Mental Hygiene recommends that business owners always use pest control professionals that are licensed by the State of New York.
