    The film and television production must complete 75% of its work in New York City (including all film production credit recipients).

      Steps to apply in person:

      Contact the Office of Film, Theatre and Broadcasting (OFTB) using the contact information below to kick off the application process.

        Prove that 75% of the project was shot in NYC.

          Upon validation by the Office of Film, Theatre and Broadcasting, the production must submit a below-the-line (including all production jobs other than Directors, Producers, Actors, and Writers) NYC production budget so that OFTB may assess the marketing credit value.

          • 4
            Once the value is calculated, a co-branded campaign will be created by OFTB in association with the studio/network which will distribute the final TV or film project.

            • 5
              Provide a "cultural credit" by donating .1% of the below-the-line budget to an NYC cultural institution. OFTB will provide a list of cultural institutions around the City as identified by the Department of Cultural Affairs.
