The Small Business Commercial Direct Install (CDI) program provides free energy surveys and equipment setup for small businesses. CDI is run by Con Edison.

The program is for businesses with average electricity demand of under 300kW per month. The survey will provide customized recommendations for improving energy efficiency.

Con Edison also provides installation of some energy-efficient equipment in this program. These include fluorescent lamps, rinse sprayers, and thermostat setbacks. Businesses can also receive incentives to cover the costs of installing efficient materials.
