Mentors for M/WBEs
Access to community support, industry networks, and mentorship are keys to a business owner’s success.
The M/WBE Mentors program, provided by the NYC Department of Small Business Services (SBS), is the first peer mentorship program for NYC’s certified Minority and Women-owned Business Enterprises (M/WBEs).
If you are an NYC-Certified M/WBE, the M/WBE Mentors program will help you:
- Learn from M/WBEs who have succeeded in public sector contracting.
- Build your professional networks.
- Expand your access to resources and contracting opportunities.
Our industry-focused event series features highly successful entrepreneurs that represent a variety of industries and backgrounds. These mentors provide the insight their peers need to succeed and chart their own path of growth through government contracting.
M/WBE Mentors are NYC-certified Minority-and/or Woman-owned Business Enterprises (M/WBEs) who have been successfully contracting with NYC agencies and other NYC public sector entities for the past several years. They represent several industry sectors within construction, goods, and services.
