Gasoline Transport Vehicles Requirements

If you own or operate a vehicle that delivers gasoline to any gasoline dispensing site in New York City, you need a stage 1 vapor collection system. This system moves gasoline vapors from a tank into a vapor-tight holding system or an equivalent system. This rule applies to vehicles moving gasoline to or from any gasoline loading terminal or bulk plant.

You should know the Rules of the City of New York (RCNY) Title 15, Chapter 4. These rules cover:

• Maximum allowed leakage
• Pressure vacuum testing
• Record keeping
• Reciprocity with other states
