Information About Water and Sewer Requirements

Businesses in New York City must pay for water and sewer services. These services come from the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP). This includes:

• Using water from a fire hydrant
• Dumping waste or wastewater into sewers
• Any other water or sewer services from the DEP
