OATH Rules of Practice for the Administrative Hearing Process for Summons Cases

About

City Administrative Trials and Hearing, Office Of

OATH’s Hearings Division Rules of Practice dictate the process you need to follow to properly respond to summonses that have been filed for hearings at the Office of Administrative Trials and Hearings (OATH).

The rules create the processes you must follow for pre-hearing procedures such as scheduling your hearing or rescheduling your hearing, the hearing and how to submit evidence, the appeal process if you disagree with the Hearing Officer’s decision in your case, and the process for how to request a new hearing after failing to appear for your hearing (or defaults).
