Commercial building owners can register with the Department of Finance and learn how to pay any required property taxes.

When you become a building owner, property documents are recorded with the Department of Finance (by you or a title company at a Finance Business Center) and maintained online using the Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS). This is a digital storage system for personal and real property-related documents in Manhattan, the Bronx, Brooklyn, and Queens (It is not available for Staten Island).
Finance mails annual property tax bills to owners in June. The tax year begins July 1st and ends June 30th. The payments are due in either two or four installments. Businesses can pay online, via mail or in person at a borough Business Center.
For more information about property taxes including how to pay, tax rates, our payment address, Business Center locations, and ACRIS please visit the Finance website or click onto the additional information links below.
