The New York State Liquor Authority (SLA) gives out Warehouse Permits. These permits let businesses store alcohol in a different place from where they sell it. To get a Warehouse Permit, you need:
- A drawing of the storage area
- Proof of insurance
- Photos of the inside and outside of the storage area
- A $5,000 bond
Important information about the bond: The bond must have the same name and address as your application. It must also be signed. If the bond is wrong, your application will be rejected.
